EAGLEVILLE, PA – The Montgomery County Correctional Facility and the Montgomery County Department of Human Resources are inviting interested candidates for the role of correctional officer to a walk-up hiring event on Saturday, October 15, 2022.
Montgomery County Correctional Officer Hiring Event

Upon successful hire, correctional officers receive generous benefits through Montgomery County that include competitive wages starting at $44,151 per year, tuition reimbursement, excellent health care benefits, County pension, and paid time off.
Newly hired correctional officers are eligible to receive a sign-on bonus equaling $4,415.10. The amount of the one-time sign-on bonus is equal 10% of the annual salary amount (before taxes) and will be paid out once the employee completes their 90-day introductory period of employment with the County. Other conditions apply, new hires should refer to the sign-on bonus policy for full details.
Among other qualifications, correctional officers must pass a background check and be available to work assigned shifts of twelve hours on a two-week rotation. Shifts start at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. For a full job description, click here.
