The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that construction will take place on several state highways next week in Bucks and Montgomery counties, under a project to repair state highways that sustained damage from the remnants of Hurricane Ida in September 2021.
The work schedules and locations are:
- Monday, December 19, and Tuesday, December 20, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Militia Hill Road between Stenton Avenue and Joshua Road in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County for ditch cleaning;
- Tuesday, December 20, and Wednesday, December 21, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Kratz Road between Stump Hall Road and Anders Road in Skippack Township, Montgomery County for embankment repair;
- Wednesday, December 21, and Thursday, December 22, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 32 (River Road) between Dark Hollow Road and Smithtown Road in Tinicum Township, Bucks County for embankment repair and guiderail installation; and
- Thursday, December 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Front Street between Balligomingo Road and Bullock Avenue in West Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County for fence replacement.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
