Congressman Dwight Evans, representing Pennsylvania's 3rd district, has recently shared insights and interactions on social media. Evans, who has been serving in Congress since 2016 after succeeding Chaka Fattah, continues to engage with constituents and address critical issues such as healthcare.

On March 17, 2025, Congressman Evans addressed a constituent's question about public engagement. He emphasized the importance of staying involved in civic matters. "We also took a question from a constituent asking, what can everyday people do? AG Jennings' and my answer: STAY ENGAGED!"

The following day, March 18, 2025, he highlighted his meeting with Caroline, a mother from Fairmount whose son depends on Medicaid. Caroline articulated her stance on the value of Medicaid support for her son. "On this #MedicaidDayofAction, I met with Caroline, a mom from Fairmount whose son relies on Medicaid. Caroline said it best: 'My son is not waste. My son is not a fraud. And he is not an abuse of the systems that are trying to support him so he can live a meaningful life.'"

In another post made simultaneously on March 18, Evans underscored the reliance of millions of Pennsylvanians on Medicaid amidst proposed cuts by the Trump-Musk administration. He reaffirmed his commitment to safeguarding affordable healthcare access for all citizens. "Caroline’s son is just one of the 3.1 MILLION Pennsylvanians who rely on this critical program. As the Trump-Musk administration continues pushing for the largest Medicaid cut in history, I am fighting back to protect access to affordable health care for ALL."
