In a tweet dated March 26, 2025, Evans addressed Republicans in Congress, urging them to collaborate with Democrats to halt Elon Musk's reductions in public services. He referenced a recent electoral outcome in a "Trump+15 district" as evidence of Pennsylvanians' disapproval of these cuts. "Republicans in Congress need to listen to Pennsylvania and join with Democrats to put the BRAKES on Elon Musk’s cuts in services to the public, mass firings, and funding freezes! Pennsylvanians in a Trump+15 district just spoke loudly last night!"
On the same day at an event for D4 Women In Action, Congressman Evans expressed gratitude for their leadership efforts. Later that evening, Evans commented on national security matters during an interview with CBS Philadelphia. He called for the resignation or dismissal of key defense officials due to mishandling sensitive military information: "As I said to @CBSPhiladelphia: The secretary of defense and national security adviser must resign NOW. If they won't, President Trump should fire them. There MUST be a full independent investigation into this gross, irresponsible mishandling of sensitive military information."
