Women's Ice Hockey Falls Short vs. Manhattanville

Arcadia University Athletics issued the following announcement on Nov. 20.

The Arcadia University women's ice hockey team fell to Manhattanville, 5-3 on Saturday afternoon at Hatfield Ice Arena. Morganne Dee and Karahkwenhawe White both scored a goal and tallied an assist in the loss to lead the Knights with two points apiece. Dee's goal was the first of her collegiate career.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • The Knights struck first as Ariel Williamson scored her second goal of the season to give Arcadia a 1-0 lead. The Valiants tied the game at one four minutes later. Dee gave the Knights the lead back with 11 minutes left in the opening period. 
  • Manhattanville tied the game at two early in the second period. They then took a 3-2 lead with six minutes left in the second period on a power play goal. 
  • The Valiants pushed their lead to 5-2, before White scored on the power play for her third goal of the season. The Knights comeback came up short as Manhattanville held on to win 5-3.
