Congressman Dwight Evans, representing Pennsylvania's 3rd district since 2016, has recently addressed several issues on social media. Known for his active engagement with constituents and fellow lawmakers, Evans shared his views on various political matters through a series of tweets.

On February 6, 2025, Congressman Evans responded to public concerns about Elon Musk and Donald Trump. He criticized Republican lawmakers for their private and gentle protests against Musk's actions. Evans encouraged constituents to reach out to Republican senators by asking, "Have you called – or emailed – a Republican senator today?"

In another tweet on the same day, Evans announced his collaboration with Democratic colleagues from the Ways and Means Committee. The group is seeking information regarding taxpayer privacy in relation to Musk's cryptocurrency initiative involving "DOGE." Evans stated, "I’ve joined with my @WaysMeansCmte Democratic colleagues to demand answers on taxpayer privacy about the Musk/ 'DOGE' effort."

Later that day, Congressman Evans expressed enthusiasm for an upcoming event involving fellow representatives Emanuel Cleaver and Sharice Davids. He looked forward to enjoying Kansas City BBQ with Representatives Brendan Boyle and Mary Gay Scanlon while supporting the Philadelphia Eagles in their pursuit of victory. His tweet read: ".@RepCleaver & @RepDavids, you’re on! I’m looking forward to enjoying some KC BBQ with @CongBoyle and @RepMGS- because the @Eagles are in it for the WIN!! #GoBirds #FlyEaglesFly"
